Hongbo has over 10 years of experience in drug discovery and project management at leading CROs and top biotech companies. He has successfully led the development of several small-molecule drug candidates into clinical trials. Since joining HitChem in 2019, he has been leading several early-stage small-molecule drug discovery and overseeing external technical consulting.

- Unveiling how focused library screening remains a primary strategy for identifying and validating hit compounds against emerging targets using the CRBN MG approach, highlighting the need for broader and more diverse glue chemistries to fully explore the “glueable” proteome
- Presenting a systematic exploration of novel CRBN binders and key findings from our discovery efforts
- Sharing how follow-up screening studies using libraries derived from HitChem newly identified binders demonstrated that these compounds can frequently function as effective ternary binders or degraders across multiple targets
